and financial data which is revolutionizing business reporting around the world. It offers major benefits

to all those who create, transmit, use or analyze such information.

Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India has made it mandatory for certain class of companies to file

financial statements for the year 2010 - 2011 onwards in XBRL format. Hence it is imperative for

companies / institutions covered under this mandate and also practicing Chartered Accountants

to get familiarize themselves on the concepts and practice of XBRL at the earliest. Realizing this need,
